Two Ways You Can Help

LACASA is competing against more than 150 other worthy causes during the Art Van challenge. There are two ways you can help us win big.

1. Join the Team – It’s Simple!

It’s easy as pie (or should we say birthday cake?) to help LACASA raise money during the five week Art Van Charity Challenge!

  • Just click on the button below to go to LACASA’s CrowdRise page.
  • Next, click on the “Fundraise for this Campaign” button.
  • Upload a photo of yourself (or something that is meaningful to you) and share information about why you want people to help.
  • Decide how much money you’d like to raise and be sure to include that goal on your page. Voila! You’re ready to roll – but wait.

You can go ahead and create your fundraising page now, but please wait to send your link to friends, family, neighbors and other folks. At 12 p.m.on Wednesday, May 18, you can begin spreading the word and sharing your page with everyone you know. Then, sit back and watch the donations roll in!

2. Donate – Your Gift Will Grow

All money raised by LACASA during the Art Van Charity Challenge will go to our endowment fund to support programs designed to:

  • Protect children from abuse & neglect
  • Help victimized children share their stories through a process that reduces trauma and increases the rate of prosecution
  • Support and advocate for abused children in the court system until they find placement in safe and loving homes
  • Help children heal and thrive after trauma

Again, donations for the challenge can be made starting Wednesday, May 18, at 12 noon.

Please watch our survivor video to learn more about how LACASA’s child advocacy programs are helping young victims.
