Gratitude to the United Way

Recognition that comes from an organization which does so much for so many, like the Livingston County United Way, is especially meaningful.

LACASA recently received a “100 Percent Club” award for full agency participation in the United Way’s 2011 fundraising campaign. We also earned an Employee Excellence Award.

In April, the United Way’s Allocation Committee convened to hear presentations from local nonprofits about each agency’s programs and services.

LACASA would like to extend its gratitude to the volunteer panelists who served on this year’s committee. They dedicated significant time and energy to learn about the good works so many organizations are providing in our community.

The United Way makes a difference, and we would like to thank this organization for its ongoing support. It is through the United Way’s generous funding that we are able to help survivors heal from the heartache and pain of traumatic life experiences.
