Judge Appoints Volunteers to Help Vulnerable Children

Facebook CASA Volunteers 2.2013

Congratulations to our six new CASA volunteers who were sworn in as Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children by Judge Miriam Cavanaugh recently.

The new LACASA-CASA volunteers are (pictured from left) Colleen Albany, Tammy Metz, Danielle Allen, Judge Cavanaugh, Pamela Flick, Aileen Heck, and Caryn Johnecheck.

CASA volunteers safeguard and advocate for abused and neglected children in Livingston County’s foster care and family court system.

Our CASA volunteers are often the only consistent adult in a foster child’s life during the length of a case, which could be years.

We commend the dedication of all our CASA volunteers for safeguarding vulnerable children from Livingston County.
