Hartland Deerfield Firefighters Help LACASA

PLAYING SANTA FOR SURVIVORS: Hartland Deerfield Firefighters Association members deliver donations to LACASA

Members of the Hartland Deerfield Firefighters Association delivered dozens of boxes, bags and bins filled with all kinds of goodies to LACASA just in time for the holidays.

The HDFA held a county-wide “Season of Giving” collection drive for us and the community was so generous. It was touching to see all the new clothes, books, art supplies, and toys for children of all ages. Other donated items included pantry staples, paper goods and an array of personal care products.

“We want to thank the Hartland Deerfield Firefighters Association for adopting us as their seasonal charity this year,” said Bobette Schrandt, President and CEO of LACASA.

“We also want to express our gratitude to the people of Livingston County who donated much-needed goods at the Hartland and Deerfield fire stations,” Schrandt said. “These donations will help victims of interpersonal violence have a more comfortable holiday and a brighter new year.”
