This year’s Twilight in the Garden is hosted by Linda and Dale Bader at their breathtaking home on Bader Acres in Howell.

LACASA’s annual garden party fundraiser, which is open to the public, begins at 6 p.m. and ends at twilight on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

Guests will stroll along the gardens, bridges and winding pathways as they enjoy cool wine and beer, delicious food and sizzling music.

Wines from around the world will be provided by Canopy Bottle and Gourmet Shoppe of Brighton. Sample a wide variety of gourmet vintages from Europe, Australia, South America and North America. For those who prefer brews, beer will be offered.

Men (and women) can kick back in the Patio Cigar Bar where they can watch…or join in…the golf chipping contest. Cigars and spirits will be available.

Local musician Tim Hein will provide pop, rock and folk favorites near the patio bar and Mallard Pond will play jazz across the water near the hors d’oeuvres tent.

silent auction will be held throughout the evening. Offerings include incredible gift baskets, sparkling jewelry, and great vacation getaways.

Dress is garden party casual, so come in comfortable clothing. (Flat shoes recommended.)

Tickets are $50 per person. They sell quickly, so purchase them in advance by Thursday, July 18. Tickets also may be purchased at the event subject to availability.

All proceeds benefit abused children and victims of interpersonal violence from Livingston County.
