Special Shift Advocate

We are seeking a Special Shift Advocate who will interact with shelter residents, LACASA clients and the public.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining our 24/7 help line as well as our business phone line during evening and weekend hours.

Another key aspect of this position involves interacting with shelter residents and meeting their needs as they arise.

The desired qualifications that will make you a good fit include empathy, organization, record keeping, crisis intervention, and excellent communication skills. Specialized training will be provided.

A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required for this position. Professional experience with domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse is preferred.
