Registration Open for Volunteer Training

Our Spring Volunteer Training Program begins on Thursday, April 19, 2018

LACASA staff members will be on hand to facilitate sessions that will give you all of the skills needed to volunteer in any of our programs with the exception of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).

Our volunteer training provides in-depth information about how child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault impact our community and how you can help.

LACASA’s volunteer training program is held only twice a year, and often fills up quickly. We encourage you to apply early.

WHERE: Training sessions are held at LACASA Center, 2895 W. Grand River Ave., Howell.

REGISTRATION: Advance registration is required. Contact LACASA Volunteer Coordinator, Nicole Matthews-Creech, at 517-548-1350 or email her at

PLEASE NOTE: Completion of all sessions in their entirety are required to volunteer in a direct service capacity with our clients.
