Be a Garden Tour Sponsor!

The joy of transformation! Winter has given way to spring, and before you know it, we’ll be enjoying the beauty of the summer.

The 2012 Garden Tour will be held Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15. Nine of Livingston County’s most gifted gardeners will open their gardens for public viewing—including perennial favorites Bader Acres and Specialty Growers.

Twilight in the Garden, our much anticipated food and wine tasting event, will be held on the evening of Saturday, July 14. This year’s Twilight celebration will be held at Triple Diamonds Alpaca Ranch—where adorable alpacas roam the landscape. The event is hosted by ranch owners Kathy Aksten and Danny Meier.

With your sponsorship, the joy of transformation can become a reality for our clients as well. Garden Tour Weekend, with more than 1,550 tour visitors and over 45 sponsors last year, is LACASA’s largest annual fundraising event.

This year’s goal is to raise $60,000. Proceeds from this event enable us to continue providing over 15 different services – at no charge – to survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. Helping them bloom and grow into a new life…a life of safety, peace and success.

We value your willingness to join the community effort to end senseless violence and look forward to your involvement as a Garden Tour Weekend sponsor.

Sponsorship forms, logo artwork, and payments are due by May 14. We also are accepting donations for our Garden Tour raffle.

If you are interested in becoming a Garden Tour sponsor, forms are available by calling Julie Smith, LACASA development director, at (517) 548-1350; or you may email her at You also may contact Julie if you are interested in donating an item for the annual Garden Tour raffle.
