CASA Volunteer Training Starts in June

Our Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program is seeking dedicated individuals to be the voice of an abused child who is in the Livingston County foster care system or family court system.

CASA’s next Volunteer Training Program begins in June, 2015. The program’s Flex Learning Curriculum combines online coursework and in-person training sessions totaling 30 hours.

Interested applicants may learn more about the program, volunteer requirements, and position responsibilities on the CASA section of our website.

IN-CLASS SCHEDULE: CASA’s Summer 2015 Volunteer Training Program

CASA volunteerSession 1:  Thursday, June 4     6 – 9:30 p.m.

Session 2:  Thursday, June 11     6 – 9:30 p.m.

Session 3:  Thursday, June 18    6 – 9:30 p.m.

Session 4 & 5: Thursday, June 25   6 – 9:30 p.m.

Preferred Registration Deadline: Thursday,  May 21, 2015 (Applications may be submitted by Wednesday, May 27, and will be put on a first-come-basis waiting list.)
