Oh, what a line up! The talented writers who will share their musings on motherhood at this year’s event include acclaimed storyteller Jeff Doyle; award-winning writers Buddy Moorehouse and Maria Stuart; The Great Foodini — aka Renee Chodkowski; and journalist blogger Mona Shand.

“Mommologues” is produced by Mona Shand and Maria Stuart. Media sponsor for the event is The Livingston Post.

“We all know what an important role moms play in our community and in our society, and we want to celebrate that experience and give it a voice,” said Shand. “The Mommologues is an attempt put into words some of the things we’ve learned from our moms and as parents ourselves.”

“This is a fundraising event for LACASA,” Stuart said. “We invite the community to come and support our local writers and performers, while giving back to an independent nonprofit that does so much for victims of child abuse and interpersonal violence from Livingston County.”
